William Shakespeare is one of the greatest English poet and playwright. 38 Plays and 154 Sonnets along with several other poems were written by Shakespeare. The Play "Hamlet" is also one of them which was published back in 17th century. Some believed that Shakespeare wrote this prior to 1589 but it was published in the early 17th century.
Hamlet is a play. In this play, The ghost of the father of Prince Hamlet visited him. His father told him about his death and how his uncle Claudius killed him. He orders him to take revenge for his death. However, Prince Hamlet struggled to believe whether the words said by the ghost is true or not. In the end, Hamlet along other characters are killed in the play.
